These fascinating creatures are the product of twisted feelings about humanity, instincts, the beauty of sadness and the kingdom of the forgotten, This is a place where everything exists, just in a different way.
Happines, sweetness and movement are all combined in this work, some elements are simply gifts of the imagination, They reflect the innocence of the souls, and are fully painted with a mouse used like a brushin photoshop software over a hand drawing.
The Fall season inspired me to create a Storyline involving a little girl asking about the changes of the season. Horses, doves and frogs, are incorporated in this series, having just one answer to give her: Life is a circle, and a natural process where leaves have to die to allow new ones to live.
This is a mixed mosaic metaphor series against war, where children want to play peace games instead of war games in a warlike scenario. The ideal of a peaceful world is in each artwork, communicating the desire for "the soldiers to go back home and leave our country free of the bombs and the terror".
There are many places where children are forgotten. Food, shoes, clothing and basic care are just a few of the things they don't receive. These drawings are recreations of photos found on the internet that sometines can be overlooked.
This is a different bear, builded completely of metal, in a world where the sun is a tennis ball and he is searching for a friend. He finds one in a boy who also has metal to shore up his own bones, connecting in their disability while living in a strange world.
The Sea has always been a mistery, a place of meditation and color, full of creatures of all different forms and behaviors. The fantasy of the sea is include throughout the artwork, and shows humans in a deep world sharing this space with all kinds of creatures... in a place where I have always wanted to live.

Taking pictures has always been a passion of mine. To capture the moment, light and emotions is like hunting for me. It provides me an opportunity to make the shot and then draw with the light. It is an amazing pastime for me.

The female figure is the perfect center of this artwork series. Here, I combine colors, textures and shapes to create a dimension where these women are converted into angels, flowers or seeds, and show a natural movement in a place where we could never be.

About the technique
In most of my artwork you wil initially find hand drawings, because most of my concepts are first sketched by hand. I then mix these drawings with colors and photographs using computer software. Scanning and using a digital tablet expands the possibilities, and after the high resolution artwork is completed I can print the final piece in a large format print on canvas. The finished piece is a full color print comparable to a large oil painting. I am thankful for all of the creative options these printers have - because of that, the limit is only the imagination.
